Dental treatment is one of the key areas of dentistry at Iskusstvo Clinic. It includes the full range of therapeutic care, from cavity treatment to complex endodontic root canal treatment under an operating microscope. Here in Moscow, the work of a restorative dentist is closely connected with the possibilities of surgery and prosthetic dentistry: when necessary, treatment continues with related specialists without loss of continuity. Every case begins with diagnostics, not just a symptom: the dentist addresses not only the visible problem but also its cause.
Our approach is based on the principles of evidence-based medicine, modern instruments, and respect for tooth tissues. We aim to preserve the tooth whenever it is clinically justified and to maintain its function for as long as possible, without excessive intervention and without postponing necessary treatment.
Our Areas of Dental Treatment
Cavity Treatment
Dental caries is the most common tooth disease and, when treated in time, can often be resolved in one visit. We treat cavities of any depth, from an initial enamel spot to dentin damage close to the pulp. Modern composite materials with high aesthetic and strength characteristics are used.
Pulpitis Treatment
Inflammation of the pulp, or nerve, requires endodontic treatment: thorough cleaning, shaping, and filling of the root canals. Work under a microscope allows the dentist to visualize canal anatomy, detect additional branches, and perform treatment with a predictable result.
Treatment of Dental Granuloma
A granuloma is a chronic inflammatory lesion at the root apex that often develops without symptoms. Timely endodontic treatment can eliminate the inflammatory focus and preserve the tooth without surgical intervention in most cases.
Treatment of a Dental Cyst: Cystectomy
A dental cyst is a cavity-like formation in the bone that requires either a conservative or surgical approach depending on its size and clinical presentation. If necessary, apical microsurgery with retrograde filling is performed.
Periodontitis Treatment
Periodontitis is inflammation of the tissues surrounding the tooth root. Depending on the form of the disease, different treatment protocols may be used, including multiple visits with temporary medicated dressings.
Fluorosis Treatment
Fluorosis is a systemic enamel disorder caused by excessive fluoride intake during tooth formation. Depending on its severity, remineralizing therapy, microabrasion, or restorative methods may be used.
Treatment of Wedge-Shaped Defects
A wedge-shaped defect is a non-carious lesion in the cervical area of the tooth associated with mechanical and chemical factors. Treatment includes eliminating the causes, restoring the defect, and, if necessary, correcting the occlusion.
Cleaning and Filling Root Canals
The endodontic stage is performed using nickel-titanium instruments and under apex locator control. In cases with complex anatomy, an operating microscope is used.
Fissure Sealing
This preventive procedure is performed for children and adolescents. The fissures of chewing teeth are sealed with a composite or glass ionomer sealant, preventing bacteria from accumulating in hard-to-reach grooves.
Dental Filling
This is the final stage of treatment: restoration of the anatomical shape and function of the tooth after removal of affected tissues. Light-cured composites are used to ensure the aesthetics and durability of the restoration.
Microscope-Assisted Treatment
The operating microscope is the standard for endodontic work in our clinic. It allows the dentist to work with canals less than one millimeter in diameter and to detect cracks, perforations, and additional canals.
Treatment Under Intravenous Anesthesia: Sedation
For patients with pronounced anxiety or when a large amount of work needs to be completed in one visit, treatment may be performed under medication-induced sleep with anesthesiologist supervision.
