Fraxel 

Fraxel is a fractional laser system by Solta Medical designed for skin resurfacing and the correction of age-related changes, pigmentation, sun damage, and scars.

During the procedure, the laser creates multiple microscopic treatment zones in the skin while leaving the surrounding tissue intact. This fractional approach supports the skin’s natural healing process, cellular renewal, and collagen remodeling.

Fraxel is used to improve skin tone and texture and to address fine lines, pigmented and age spots, freckles, acne scars, and surgical scars. Treatments may be performed on the face, neck, décolletage, hands, and other areas when clinically indicated.

Depending on the system model, Fraxel may use 1550 nm and 1927 nm wavelengths. These wavelengths target different levels of the skin and allow the treatment parameters to be selected according to the patient’s skin condition and treatment goals
